Two Israeli police officers lightly wounded after being stabbed in Jerusalem
Two Israeli police officers were stabbed near the Lions Gate in Jerusalem early Friday morning and were lightly wounded as a result.
A Magen David Adom crew transferred the officers to Shaare Zedek Medical Center with one officer suffering a wound to his neck and the other suffering a hand wound.
The suspect fled the scene and a large police presence is conducting searches for the suspect around the scene of the crime.
