Hundreds of asylum seekers protested outside the Holot detention center on Saturday against the new "anti-infiltration" law, which allows the government to hold migrants for up to 20 months in the Holot center without trial. The protestors are carrying signs reading: "Listen to the High Court".
In September, the High Court ruled that the government could no longer detain illegal migrants for up to a year without trial and ordered the closure of the Holot Center within 90 days.
