Following ICC application, Israel freezes Palestinian tax funds
Israeli sources said that Israel has frozen the transfer of
half a billion shekels from tax funds collected by Israel on behalf of the PA and distributed every month, in response to the Palestinians' request to join the International Criminal Court in The Hague and the UN Security Council.
The frozen funds were scheduled to go through this month. The decision was made Thursday during a discussion convened by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and further consultations.
