Erekat: If Israel continues withholding funds, it'll find itself in charge of territories

Palestinian official and former negotiator Saeb Erekat on Sunday warned that if Israel continues withholding the transfer of some $125 million in tax funds to the Palestinian Authority, it will "find itself responsible for the territories like in 1992."

"Withholding the funds will bring to ruin and destruction and prevents the payment of salaries to schools and hospitals and people won't have food," Erekat told Ynet. "I hope the Israelis vote for peace with the Palestinians, for neighborly ties with the Palestinians."
