Report: Government transfers NIS 70 m to Beit El settlement
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon have authorized the transfer of NIS 70 million to the West Bank outpost of Beit El, a Channel 10 report claimed Sunday.
According to the report, two years ago Israel evacuated the outpost of Givat Ulpana and the prime minister promised to 'reimburse' the settlers with 300 new housing units in Beit El. However, an IDF base was on the area. Ya'alon and Netanyahu have now decided to move the base and free up the funds.
