Heavy snowfall was reported throughout the mountains of northern Israel overnight Wednesday. The northern Golan Heights was blocked to traffic due to the winter storm while snow piled three feet high in the area. In the northern neighborhoods of Safed, also in northern Israel, 15 cm of snow piled up.
