Human rights groups petition High Court to urgently supply heating in Holot
The Hotline for Refugees and Migrants, the Association for Civil Rights in Israel, and Physicians for Human Rights – Israel have petitioned the Supreme Court with a demand to immediately supply electric heating to the rooms of about 2,300 people held in the Holot detention center.
The petitioners asked the court to urgently set a hearing and enact an interim order, which would establish that until heating is installed, residents in the facility will not be charged for their stay in Holot during evening and night hours.
