US: No credible information linking al-Qaeda to Paris attacks
US Attorney General Eric Holder said Sunday that there was "no credible information" that al-Qaeda was behind the series of terror attacks to Paris.
"At this point, we have no credible information that will allow us to determine which organization is responsible" for the attacks, he said from Paris, where he participated in an international meeting against terrorism.
He noted that al-Qaeda in Yemen and the Islamic State "clearly posed a threat to the United States and their allies."
