Man in serious condition after shot by police during chase near Petah Tikva
A 30-year-old man was seriously wounded Monday when he was shot by police as he drove off the central Route 4 highway near Petah Tikva.
The police had been chasing two cars along Route 4, one of which had been stolen.
An initial investigation showed that police had called for one of the drivers to stop and had attempted to block his path. But the man continued driving in an effort to get away and had collided with several other vehicles, including police cars.
