Kadima MK Shaul Mofaz will not run in upcoming elections
Former defense minister and IDF chief Shaul Mofaz (Kadima) announced on Tuesday that he will not run in the upcoming elections.
"Public service for me is a way of life and a great privilege. In the future, in any role I'll have and in any path I'll take, I'll walk for Israel," Mofaz said in a statement.
"I'll be frank, I'm not an outstanding politician. Politics is not something I aspire to excel in," Mofaz said. "Israel's glorious legacy has been blessed with worthy military leaders, and I prefer to be one of them."
