Lebanese Hezbollah group claims responsibility for attack targeting Israeli military convoy
The Lebanese Hezbollah group has claimed responsibility for an attack that targeted an Israeli military convoy.
Hezbollah says Wednesday's attack destroyed a number of Israeli vehicles and caused casualties among "enemy ranks."
Its statement also says that the attack was carried out by a group calling itself the "heroic martyrs of Quneitra," - suggesting it was retaliation for an Israeli airstrike on the Golan Heights on January 18 that killed six-Hezbollah fighters.
