The Prime Minister's Office responded to a Channel 2 report saying the Netanyahus have ordered bottles of wine worth 100,000 shekels in two years. "According to a review conducted by the Prime Minister's Office accountant, the average daily expense for the residence – for wine purchases in the years 2013 and 2014 – was about a bottle of wine a day, mostly for hosting purposes."
"This figure is based on a review of the years 2013 and 2014 in which the expenses for soft drinks and wine were separated because only one supplier provided the soft drinks," said the PMO.
