Report: Jordan considering limited ground offensive against Islamic State group
A source within the Jordanian government said Thursday that the government has considered a limited ground offensive as a response to the Islamic State group's killing of a Jordanian air force pilot by burning him alive in a cage, according to a report in the Jordanian daily Al Arab Al Yawm.
According to the government source, the Jordanian's are considering carrying out a huge blow against the Islamic State group and then plan on putting together a new strategy with the international coalition in order to dismantle the terror group.
