3 Egyptian police killed, 2 injured during raid
Egyptian security officials say three policemen have been shot dead and two others injured when they came under fire near the southern city of Minya.
The officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to journalists, say the policemen were conducting a raid against a group of criminals in Damshou Hashem early Saturday.
