Center-left Zionist Camp supports bid to ban MK Zoabi, Baruch Marzel
The Zionist Camp has announced it supports the petitions calling to ban firebrand Arab MK Hanin Zoabi and far-right Jewish activist Baruch Marzel vying for a spot in the next Knesset.
The party explained its decision, saying the two had "pushed the limits of democracy to the extreme and abused freedom of speech."
Israel's Central Election Committee will debate Thursday the call to ban the two. Historically such bans pass the committee but are later shot down by the High Court.
