Syrian journalists slightly wounded south of Damascus

Syria's state news agency says two Syrian journalists have been lightly wounded in a town south of the capital Damascus where government forces have been on the offensive.

SANA says the two, who work for state-owned Al-Ikhbariya TV, were wounded Saturday in the town of Deir al-Adas in an attack by opposition fighters. It gave no further details.

The Committee to Protect Journalists says that at least 17 journalists were killed in Syria in 2014, with at least 79 killed since the fighting began in 2011.
