Faith leaders show solidarity after Islamic school defaced in US

Local faith leaders say the community won't be divided by a perpetrator who tagged an Islamic School in Rhode Island state with offensive graffiti. The FBI has opened a civil rights investigation into the vandalism at the Islamic School of Rhode Island on Saturday night.

School officials say the entrance was tagged with orange graffiti that read "Now this is a hate crime," ''pigs" and offensive references to the Prophet Muhammad. Mufti Ikram, the resident Imam in the town of North Smithfield, says the person responsible "failed miserably" because the interfaith community is united.
