2 detained in German anti-terror raid have been set free

German authorities say two people who were detained in connection with an anti-terror raid in the city Bremen have been released.

The city in northern Germany was on terror alert this weekend after receiving information that a 39-year-old Lebanese suspect had tried to procure weapons of war.

Bremen's top security official, Ulrich Maeurer, said Sunday police didn't find any weapons during their searches and the two have been set free.

He said security measures have been returned to normal again after Saturday's increased police presence and heightened security for the Jewish community.
