Home of man who shot Yehuda Glick will not be demolished
The government announced on Monday that it would not demolish the home of Muataz Hijazi, who attempted to kill rightwing activist Yehuda Glick. Hijazi submitted a court petition asking state judges to explain why the home in East Jerusalem ought to be destroyed if Glick is still alive.
The state told the Supreme Court that it had decided to take a more moderate approach than usual and seal off the room in which Hijazi lived.
