First flight from Germania airline lands in Israel
At approximately 5:30 pm a Germania Fluggesellschaft plane touched down at Ben Gurion International Airport. The landing marks the launch of the firm's direct flights from Tel Aviv to Hamburg and the resort town of Baden-Baden.
Germania CEO, Karsten Balke, told Ynet upon arrival in Ben Gurion that he was "very excited and hopeful that the route will break masses of German tourists to Israel and many Israeli tourists to Germany."
