Argentina top court rejects president's criticism

Argentina's Supreme Court is rejecting President Cristina Fernandez's recent criticism and demands for answers in the 1992 bombing of the Israeli embassy in Buenos Aires.

Fernandez asked for the status of the investigation led by the top court during a Sunday speech to lawmakers and government officials.

But Supreme Court President Ricardo Lorenzetti said Tuesday that a ruling was emitted in 1999 for the attack, which killed 29. He said the sentence found the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah guilty, and that the top court can't change its ruling now.
