Missing Canadian pastor is being held by North Korea
The head pastor of a Canadian church who failed to return from a humanitarian mission to North Korea is now being held by authorities in the secretive state, a church spokeswoman said on Thursday.
Reverend Hyeon Soo Lim, from the Light Korean Presbyterian Church in Toronto, was last heard from on January 31. Canadian foreign ministry officials informed the family of his detention, the spokeswoman told Reuters.
