BEIRUT - Two activist groups said Sunday that Syrian government airstrikes on a rebel-held suburb of the capital have killed at least 10 people.
The Local Coordination Committees activist collective and the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the air raids targeted the Arbeen district just east of Damascus.
While the Local Coordination Committees said at least 10 people were killed and dozens wounded in the attack, the Observatory put the death toll at 11 and said more than 50 people were wounded.
