Prosecution declaration filed for supsected attacker behind Purim vehicular attack

Jerusalem Police filed on Monday a prosecution declaration for 22-year-old Mohammed Salaima from the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Ras al-Amud, suspected of carrying out the vehicular attack that took place a week ago near a Border Police base near Ammunition Hill in Jerusalem.
Salaima is suspected of running over and wounding six female Border Police officers and a cyclist that were standing at the intersection.
A Border Police officer and a security guard who saw the event play out shot at Salaima and hit his car. Salaima than exited the vehicle armed with a meat cleaver and was shot at again.
