Both small parties, which had polled near the electoral threshold, managed to win five seats each. Meretz Chairwoman Zehava Gal-On said her faction "pulled through against all odds. I call on Herzog to reject a unity government. We believe a center-left government is possible."
Sharon Gal, from Yisrael Beytenu said voters "did not take out the faction, and that's what is important. I believe that in the final results we will win more mandates."
