MK Yael German of the Yesh Atid party told President Reuven Rivlin on Monday that the party will not recommend a candidate for the role of prime minister and will aim to serve in the government's opposition. "From there we will serve our voters and the entire voting public," said German.
Rivlin, who tried to insist that the party nominate a candidate, said that "the State of Israel has been without an approved budget for four months now. It causes various problems for the different systems."
