Man caught driving at double the speed limit

A 36-year-old resident of Ness Ziona was pulled over by traffic police while driving 220 kilometers per hour (136 mph) on Route 431. The driver, whose license was suspended on the spot, claimed he did not drive faster than 140 kph.
He was taken in for questioning and released to house arrest for five days.
