Palestinians ask soccer federation FIFA to suspend Israel
The Palestinian soccer association has submitted a formal request to International Federation of Soccer (FIFA) demanding that Israel be suspended from any activity in the federation. The Fifa Congress will convene in May, and the proposal will become a decision only if the Palestinians obtain a two-thirds majority of votes.
