Arab coalition: If Iran and Hezbollah are in Yemen, their fate will be like the Houthis'

The spokesperson for the Arab coalition currently fighting rebels in Yemen, Ahmed bin Hassan Asiri, said Tuesday that troops will not allow aid to reach the Houthis from the sea, land or air. The statement followed reports that Iran had been sending supplies to the embattled rebels. According to Asiri, the military blockade has already had repercussions.

The Arab coalition troops will, however, allow delivery of medical aid and food to the Yemeni people, as long as it is coordinated in advance. Asked whether Hezbollah and Revolutionary Guards forces were present in Yemen, Asiri said that "those parties trained the Houthis, and if they are with them in the field right now, their fate will be like the Houthis'."
