BAGHDAD - Two separate bombings have targeted public places in Baghdad on Thursday, killing 11 people, Iraqi officials said.
A car bomb exploded near a bus stop and an out-door market in Baghdad's Bab al-Muadam area on Thursday evening, killing eight people. Two of the dead were women, and the explosion also wounded 18 people, police officials said.
Earlier, a bomb blast near a small restaurant killed three people and wounded eight in the capitals' northern Shiite suburbs of Husseiniyah.
