Vandals scrawl swastika on monument to fallen soldiers in south

A memorial to fallen IDF soldiers from the southern town of Omer has been vandalized, with a swastika and graffiti in Arabic daubed across the stone monument. 

"There has been arson in the area over the last two weeks," said the head of the local council Pini Badash. "We wondered who set fire to the vegetation, (but) when I see the graffiti, with Arabic writing and swastikas, it's indicative of who did it. There is not much forgiveness, we need to find these people. If we have no other choice, we will install cameras in the area."
