Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasralla said Monday that the attempt to oust Syrian President Bashar Assad has failed.
Speaking to Syria's al-Ikhbariya TV he said Hezbollah chose to interfere in the Syrian civil war, and was not dragged into it.
"In Lebanon, we didn't tell our allies in order not to embarrass anyone. After we engaged in the war, I apologized to our friends in Lebanon and told them that they were not consulted so that they don't share the consequences," he added.
