Youth critically hurt in crush at rabbi's funeral dies of his injuries

Yitzhak Samat, the 18-year-old who sustained critical injuries in the crush at the funeral of a rabbi on Saturday, passed away Wednesday morning.

He is the second person to die as a result of the incident, which occurred as some 100,000 ultra-Orthodox men turned out to pay their respects to Rabbi Shmuel Halevi Wosner in Bnei Brak. Police have launched an investigation into the incident, in which two others were critically injured.
