80 percent of Israelis believe the Holocaust could become a hazy historical event
More than 80 percent of the public believes that in a few years, the Holocaust could become a hazy, dimly-remembered historic event, according to a poll by the Center of Organizations of Holocaust Survivors ahead of Holocaust Memorial Day in Israel. The poll also showed that 42.2 percent of the public believes that the memory of the Holocaust affects Israelis' decision-making on both a personal and national level on a daily basis.
