15 arrested in Be'er Sheva on suspicion of weapons and drug trafficking

Israel Police arrested 15 individuals in Be'er Sheva on Monday for suspected weapons and drug trafficking.

 

The suspects were in found to be in possession of three explosive batteries and detonating cords which police suspected were intended to be handed over to known criminals. Police suspect the batteries were stolen from the IDF.

 

The weapons were bought by one of the suspects - a released IDF soldier. The released soldier bought the weapons from an undercover agent that was sent by the Negev regional unit.
