IDF officer discharged for leaking sensitive information

A lieutenant-colonel from the IDF has been discharged from his position at one of Israel's regional commands for leaking sensitive information to unauthorized officials – probably from the media – over many years.
The man's promotion to the rank of colonel has also been put on hold as a result of the internal IDF investigation conducted into the leaks.
