Two people believed to be terrorism suspects by Chinese authorities were killed Friday near the Chinese-Vietnamese border after an intense clash with armed forces, state media said.
A man who answered the call at Guangxi Public Security Bureau on Friday confirmed the killings but refused to give more details or his name. The official China National Radio said authorities spotted multiple terrorism suspects in the border city of Dongxing on Friday morning and attempted to arrest them. Two suspects fled but were killed when they were ferreted out, CNR said.
