Blast reportedly heard in center of coastal city of Ashdod

Residents reported hearing a blast go off in the center of Ashdod, a coastal city in Israel's south.

One person was lightly wounded in the blast and another suffered moderate wounds. The circumstances of the event are unclear, but the event is currently not being investigated as a terror attack.
