Report: Lebanon demands Israel pay for oil spill from 2006 war
Media in Lebanon said the country demanded the UN force Israel to compensate Lebanon for an environmental incident caused by an Israeli attack during a 2006 war the two nations fought.
According to the report, in Lebanon's Daily Star, quoted Lebanon's Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil saying, referencing an attack that hit a power plant during the Second Lebanon War which they said sent more than 10,000 tons of oil into the sea.
