Bat Galim Shaer: 'The soul of our loved ones will continue forever, together we will deal with the challenges'

Bat Galim Shaer, mother of Gil-ad Shaer who was one of three teenagers kidnapped and murdered by terrorists before the start of Operation Protective Edge, said on Wednesday during a memorial service held at Mount Herzl: "Our loved ones meet in the sky, we can only try and imagine the meeting of their souls, the sounds and the silence, bowing their heads with all of us here."

"Our loved ones who are no longer with us, who believed in human kindness, sought to increase love and kindness. Those who rise against us and try to destroy us harmed their bodies, souls and the soul of the Jewish nation and will last forever. Together we will deal with the challenges that were prepared for us."
