Israeli Foreign Ministry opens situation room in Nepal after quake

The Israeli Foreign Ministry opened a situation room in Nepal on Saturday after a 7.9-magnitude earthquake hit the country in an attempt to trace Israelis staying in the affected area and assess their situation.

"We're looking into bringing in reinforcement from New Delhi to Kathmandu, as we did during the avalanche," Foreign Ministry sources said.

So far, there have been no reports of Israelis hurt as result of the earthquake.
