Israel's ambassador to UN warns of Hezbollah threat in letter
Israel's UN Ambassador Ron Prosor warned of the threat Hezbollah poses on Israel after the most recent military confrontation in the Golan Heights and said that Hezbollah was preparing for an open and violent confrontation with Israel.
In a letter to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and the UN Security Council, Prosor demanded that the international community stop ignoring the threat of Hezbollah attacks.
In the letter, Prosor wrote: "Israel will not show restraint when attacked on its territory and will take the necessary steps to protect its citizens." The ambassador also called on the Security Council to condemn the recent attack.
