Netanyahu accepts Shas demand for 0% VAT bill

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has told Shas Chairman Aryeh Deri that he accepts his demand to pass a bill for zero per cent VAT on basic groceries, which Deri said was a precondition for his joining of the new government. The two are set to meet at 5 pm to continue the coalition negotiations.
