Lapid: Netanyahu betraying national camp's values by selling out country to haredim
Yesh Atid activists protested on Friday morning in Tel Aviv against coalition agreements Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu signed with ultra-Orthodox parties United Torah Judaism and Shas, committing to funnel a billion shekels to Haredi education.
"Netanyahu is betraying the values of the national camp and sells out everything that's important to the state of Israel," Yesh Atid chairman Yair Lapid said at the protest.
"Yesh Atid will not remain quiet; we won't allow them to sell out everything that's important to Israeli society. We'll go out to the streets, turn to the courts, fight at the Knesset," he added.
