Report: Gaza military commander executed over collaboration with Israel
A commander in a military wing of one of the Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip was executed in Khan Younis after being convicted of cooperating with Israel, Gaza sources reported Saturday.
Neither the name of the commander not the military wing he belonged to were disclosed.
The 49-year-old commander was reportedly caught two months ago, and admitted in his interrogation that he provided Israel with information on the whereabouts of several Palestinian commanders who were killed in Israeli strikes in northern Gaza during Operation Protective Edge.
