US says it killed members of Islamic State group in Syria, not citizens
The US denied claims by the Human Rights Comissioner in Syria Monday, according to which an attack by the international coalition killed 52 civilians in the north. The coalition confirmed that there was in fact a strike in that area on April 30, but said that the attack destroyed several Islamic State group positions and killed at least 50 of its fighters.
