Customs workers and Shin Bet foil attempted smuggling of contraband into Gaza

Customs workers along with the Shin Bet foiled an attempts to smuggle contraband into Gaza in recent months. In the latest attempt two weeks ago, 1,200 tubes of tubes of material that could be used for the production of rockets were found.

In early March, customs workers foiled several smuggling attempts, including an attempt to smuggle 200 kilograms of raw sulfur rods that could be used as an ingrediant in the manufacturing of weapons.
