Heavy airstrikes target Yemen's airports

Heavy airstrikes hit several airports across Yemen, as a Saudi-led military coalition continued to target the country's Shiite rebels and their allied forces.

In the southern city of Aden on Monday, more than 150 airstrikes hit the city airport where rebel forces are battling pro-government fighters. The Shiite rebels, known as Houthis, are allied with security personnel loyal to ousted President Ali Abdullah Saleh. Monday's airstrikes also hit airports in the city of Hodeida and the capital, Sanaa. Other airstrikes targeted the eastern province of Marib and the Houthi stronghold of Saada.
