Islamic Jihad operative launches hunger strike
An operative of Islamic Jihad in the West Bank, Khader Adnan, considered by some to be a symbol of prisoner hunger strikes in Israel, announced Tuesday that he was beginning an indefinite hunger strike in protest of his return to administrative detention the day before. Adnan was arrested last summer during Operation Brother's Keeper.
