Egypt: Three armed Palestinians killed in Sinai

Three armed Palestinians were killed Wednesday by the Egyptian army in the northern Sinai near the border with the Gaza Strip, according to medical and security officials.

The three Palestinian militants were killed in "shooting exchanges" with Egyptian soldiers who spotted them near the border with Gaza, in an area where authorities have established a buffer zone, according to officials.
